Malebranche's jewels seem to be raw products, the result of unorthodox elaborations. They are made of coral and/or brass and/or bronze with the lost wax casting technique. The use of coral, when foreseen, recalls the red color of the volcano and the blood of San Gennaro but also the Neapolitan artisan tradition; given the use for the production of lucky horns.

Each jewel is to be considered unique, as the technique used does not allow to obtain two or more perfectly identical pieces, therefore any slight difference must be considered as a characteristic of the product's uniqueness.
