After Nigrum Cordis, the works are born with an artistic process. In other words, Dario Scotto sets up a search for elements to combine to give new sculptural life to images

A process that leads to iconography, to something that is actually recognizable, something that, albeit static, becomes a symbol: in Ecce Homo, which represents Christ scourged and crowned with thorns, the consecrated wafer begins to become a fragment of man.

The reference to classical art is therefore clear: a territorial characteristic that influenced Dario Scotto: «Since I was younger - he said -, wherever I turned, I still kept classical works around me; the fragment in Ecce Homo has therefore become part of an artistic memory».
