Materials: mixed technique on two canvases

Pasquale Manzo, a graduate in architecture, always seeks three-dimensionality in his works. To give it, he uses papier-mâché, recovering an old tradition that has been almost completely lost.

His artistic journey passes through three fundamental elements of Naples. First of all the Volcano, because as a Neapolitan he has a visceral love for Vesuvius. But his volcanoes are exploding, because in the Aeolian Islands he has seen active volcanoes and the eruptions seen have inspired works brought to life both by the use of colors and papier-mâché
