Pasquale Manzo's San Gennaro is an oblong figure, which looks upwards, with a cut in the center, where Pasquale sees the sacred fire, the bowels of the city, the fire of the volcano, but also the sacrifice and martyrdom of the saint . The work in the papier-mâché and silver leaf version was the winner of the San Gennaro Art prize in 2013.
